National Diabetes Prevention Program

MedsPlus Consulting is excited to announce our partnership with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and The National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP)!

WHAT IS THE NATIONAL DPP?

The National Diabetes Prevention Program (or National DPP) is a partnership of public and private organizations working to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. One key feature of the National DPP is the CDC-recognized lifestyle change program, a research-based program focusing on healthy eating and physical activity. People with prediabetes who participate in the program, can cut their chance of developing diabetes in HALF!

THE FACTS ABOUT DIABETES & PREDIABETES

  • Over 34 million Americans have diabetes, a serious chronic condition that can lead to heart disease, high blood pressure, loss of limbs and blindness.*
  • Over 88 million Americans have prediabetes and more than 84% of them do not know it.*
